This project takes a 1968 Camaro and not only gives it a modern engine / transmission but also a modern AWD drivetrain. The owner claims when completed this will be the only AWD 1st generation Camaro and I think he might be right. The current plan is to use a AWD system from a wrecked Cadillac STS.

I have a 68 Camaro with an LS6 engine in it that I just picked up. Currently has a 400 turbo tranny (automatic) that I want to swap out to a 5 speed, possibly a Richmond or Tremec? Looking for advice on what type of tranny to buy, what mods need to be made so it will fit, etc…
