The KMV4 is a 1.6 L V4 based off GM’s LS7 V8 architecture. The 130 lb engine was designed by Motus for their MST-01 motorcycle and is being built by Katech in Detroit, Michigan. The engine produces 140 horsepower at 7,800 rpm and 120 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. We expect these motors to be very interesting for small vehicle and ATV swapping.

I have a Motus KMV4 crate engine but it came with just the engine, no adapter plate (which carries the starter motor), no flywheel. I want to mate it to a T5 trans but I don’t know where to start finding these parts. Motus is currently out of production.
Kennedy Engineering will do custom adapter plates.
