This 1998 Volkswagen Golf GTI was built by Caste Systems Performance in Norwood, New Jersey. The factory VR6 was replaced with a 2.5 L 07K inline-five built with Integrated Engineering rods, custom JE pistons, and custom camshafts. The Precision 7275 turbocharger provides 40+ psi of boost. The combo is good for a 8.52 sec quarter-mile at 169 mph.
