2010 Mustang with a Mercedes V12

2010 Ford Mustang With A Mercedes M275 V12

Evil Empire drift team started building this Mustang in 2011 and has resulted in a pretty unique car. Instead of the factory V6 or V8 it now runs a 5.5 L Mercedes M275 V12 from a Maybach. To get the engine to run the builders used two Tatech T32 Pro ECUs, a solution I have seen on other V12s. Essentially each side of the engine is controlled by one ECU. Thus making it two inline-six engines that are connected to one crankshaft. The engine produces 641 horsepower and 796 ft-lb of torque with 442 ft-lb of torque ready at only 1,700 rpm. The rest of the drivetrain consists of a Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed transmission, Alcon clutch, and a Ford Motorsport 9″ rearend.

  1. I’ve got a 2004 sl55 amp 707 hp twin super motor with 49000 miles on it . If love to put it in a Ford. How hard and how costly! Love to hear from you.

    Thanks
    Jeff
