It takes some work but you can pay for your next engine build with the right auction wreak. This guy shows how he paid off his V8 engine build by selling everything from a wrecked 2003 Chevy Express 2500 RWD with a 6.0L LQ4 motor. The van cost him $1725 but he was able to make $2151 from scrapping the van and selling off the pieces.
