SuperStreet published a list of Honda engine weights. They weighed the engine, manual transmission, intake/exhaust manifold, axles, and accessories.

D-series 395 pounds
B-series (non-VTEC) 395 pounds
B-series (VTEC) 405 pounds
K20 405 pounds
K24 413 pounds
H-series (VTEC) 485 pounds
J-series 550 pounds

  1. I realize this post was talking about the Super Street article back in 2013 and I likely have that issue but, I’m looking for Honda’s latest staple power plant, the L15B7. All of the latest technology, 30 years newer than the D-Series; I’m guessing the L15B7 weighs less than the stock 1988 1.5L.
