ICON just took the wraps off their 1948 Buick Super Convertible project. It might have taken a year but it seems to have paid off very well. The body was kept untouched but everything underneath is upgraded. It starts with an Art Morrison chassis featuring a modern suspension and disc brakes. Then on top of that goes a supercharged 6.2 L LS9 V8 out of a ZR1 Corvette good for 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. The company paired the motor with a Supermatic 4L85E four-speed automatic transmission.
