Lee Docherty Mazda MX-5 with a turbo 13B two-rotor

Lee Docherty built his Mazda MX-5 to compete at the dragstrip. Under the hood sits a turbocharged 13B two-rotor built by Pac Performance in Revesby, NSW, Australia mated to a GForce five-speed transmission. The engine produces 1200 horsepower thanks to billet plates, Garrett GTX55 turbocharger, Turbosmart 60 mm wastegate, and MicroTech LT16c ECU. Lee’s personal bests are a 7.46 sec at 179 mph and 7.57 sec at 181 mph.
