With all due respect to the workmanship…tge car is basically useless. Overpowered. Have a Popeye 94 miata. I can tour all over the country, mountains, sea shores, without having to stop and fix things on it. A Ford hard rear end? And give up the cornering and agility? Why?
Why not ?
… at sustained high speed this will also get light in the front due to the short wheel base and lack of downforce.
Ford IRS, not solid axle. Very common swap for V8 Miatas, and maintains the stock suspension geometry.
Couldn’t of said it better. What a waste of both chassis and engine. One of those projects that the saying goes “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”
