Nelson Racing Engines posted their progress on a new project involving installing a twin-turbo 427 cubic-inch LSx into a 2012 Camaro. The engine produces 1,000 horsepower and 1,038 ft-lb of torque on 14.9 psi of boost and 91 octane. The Camaro is receiving many other upgrades to handle the power but all of them are being done to retain a factory look.
