Nelson Racing Engines posted their progress on a new project being powered by a twin-turbo 427 ci LSx V8 into a 2012 Camaro. The engine produces 1,000 hp (735 kW) and 1,038 ft-lb (1407 Nm) of torque on 14.9 psi of boost and 91 octane fuel. The Camaro is receiving many upgrades to handle the power but all of them are being done to retain a factory look.
