1968 Camaro with a 454 ci LSx V8

Steven Rupp built this 1968 Camaro called “Bad Penny” with a 454 ci LSx V8. The motor a LS2 block with Darton MID sleeves, K1 crank and rods, Wiseco pistons, TrickFlow 235 heads, and COMP valvetrain. It produces 650 hp (478 kW) and 613 lb-ft (831 Nm) of torque. Behind the motor is a T56 six-speed manual transmission with a McLeod 800 series 11-inch clutch. An Inland Empire Driveline 3.5-inch driveshaft transmits power to a Strange 9-inch rear end with 3.70 ratio, Detroit Truetrac limited-slip differential, and 31-spline axles. The Camaro rides on Forgeline WC3 3-piece wheels (18×9, 18×12) and Toyo RA1 tires (275/35, 335/30).
