Benjamin Strader at EFI University spent the last three years developing a LS7 V8 capable of 11,000+ rpm with help from Billy Godbold at Comp Cams. EngineLabs reports the 358 ci (5.8 L) V8 made 921 horsepower at 9,300 rpm and 545 lb-ft of torque at 8,000-8,200 rpm. Listen to the unique LSx V8 reach 11,230 rpm below.

Besides the drivetrain being original and bitchin, I absolutely love the steel wheels. Whether they are steel, aluminum, iconel, magnesium, or whatever. They are bitchin and timeless.
I have a much modified 302 sbc that is rev limited at 9,000 that I have bumped twice (NOT ON PURPOSE) that I thought was insane. BUT this beast makes music TO MY EARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounded like my vfr800 v4 lol goes to 12.5k but similar! Great job man!
Sounds amazing. I’m not sure this was the first run since the computer screen at 1.45 shows the power and torque from the previous run and its almost identical …. great video none the less
