Arjan Kolkman released another update video on the Detroit Diesel Hot Rod. When we last saw the project it was in black primer and still needed work on the interior and the Allison 750 automatic transmission. The new video shows the massive 18.6 L (1136 ci) Detroit Diesel 16V-71 V16 is painted along with the frame and front body panels. There is still no estimate on power output with the modern twin-turbos but the factory turbocharged version produced 724 horsepower at 2,100 rpm and 1,936 lb-ft of torque at 1,400 rpm.
