Ford is hoping to increase interest in the EcoBoost engine platform with this custom 1934 Ford. Ford engineers with help from Detroit Street Rods decided to swap out the original engine to an EcoBoost twin-turbo V6. The engine is producing about 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque which should be plenty for this little coupe. Behind the engine sits a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission and Ford 9″ rear end. The first chance anyone will get their hands on this RWD TT V6 setup is on the 2011 F-150. I am sure enthusiasts will be keeping their eyes open in the junk yards.
