Dodge Pickup Hot Rod with a Nissan L-Series Inline-six

The story goes a Nissan dealership owner built this 1923 Dodge Pickup hot rod in 1974 to promote their business and was shown for 15 years. The listing says the hot rod runs a 1974 Datsun 240Z powertrain with a two-speed automatic. There are a few things wrong with that. Datsun only produced the 240Z from 1970-1973 so the engine is either is a 2.4 L L24 inline-six from an earlier model or a 2.6 L L26 inline-six from a 260Z powertrain. Also Datsun never sold either model with a two-speed automatic so it is probably a Jatco 3N71 3-speed automatic gearbox. Either way it is a pretty unique custom hot rod with a great sound. Currently for sale in Santa Ynez, California with an asking price of $17,500 OBO.
