Lexus RC F with a Toyota 1GZ V12

In 2023 Jaron Olivecrona from Olivecrona Drift Motorsport decided to move on from his V12-powered Nissan S14 to a new vehicle for the D1NZ Drifting Championship Series. Jaron’s newest drift machine would be a Lexus RC F. However instead of using the factory 5.0 L 2UR-GSE V8, Jaron swapped a twin-turbo Toyota 1GZ-FE V12 built by Hartley Engines capable of 1300 hp (956 kW). He competed in 2024 with the twin-turbo V12 but went with a naturally aspirated 1GZ-FE V12 for 2025. The NA motor produces 735 hp (540 kW) and features Hartley Engines’ forged pistons, forged rods, and custom exhaust manifolds. Behind the motor is a TTi 503 five-speed sequential transmission, carbon fiber driveshaft, and Winters quick-change rear end.
