Anders Scharff from AS-Motosport built his Nissan S13 for drifting. The car was previously powered by a turbocharged VG30DETT V6 making 529 hp (389 kW) and 588 Nm (433 lb-ft) of torque. In 2022 Anders swapped to a turbocharged 2.4 L Volvo B5244T3 inline-five. After competing with that motor setup Anders eventually moved to a turbocharged 2.3 L Volvo B5234T inline-five making 534 hp (398 kW) and 606 Nm (446 lb-ft) of torque. Behind the motor is a PMC adapter plate allowing for a BMW GS6-53DZ six-speed transmission which transmits power to a Nissan Skyline differential and axles.
